The National Disability Insurance Scheme has engaged Early Childhood Early Intervention (ECEI) partners around Australia to deliver the ECEI approach. The Brotherhood of St Laurence is the ECEI partner for the North East Melbourne, Hume Moreland, Bayside Peninsula, Brimbank Melton and Western Melbourne areas.

About the role

  • Play a crucial role in supporting families to identify the right supports at the right time for them and their child
  • Multiple ongoing positions available in the Brimbank Melton and Western Melbourne areas
  • $70,000 – $75,000 per annum plus superannuation
  • $13,000 per annum allowance in lieu of a vehicle
  • Attractive salary packaging options available.

The ECEI approach supports children aged 0-6 years who have a developmental delay or disability and their families/carers. Supporting families to help children develop the skills they need to take part in daily activities and achieve the best possible outcomes throughout their life is a fundamental part of the ECEI approach. The Brotherhood are seeking passionate and engaging individuals form the following disciplines:

  • Early Childhood Education
  • Occupational Therapy
  • Physiotherapy
  • Psychology
  • Social Work
  • Speech Pathology

Equipped with strong early childhood developmental knowledge and excellent clinical observation skills, you are known for your ability to quickly and genuinely establish and build relationships. You are committed to capacity building within the family environment as well as within the community, and understand the positive impact that community inclusion and participation has on people’s lives.
