Organisation Name : Statewide Autistic Services (SASI)

Statewide Autistic Service (SASI) has been providing support to people on the autism spectrum for fifty years. It operates across the south east, and eastern suburbs of Melbourne and Gippsland. With its administration site in Frankston, SASI offers a range of services including accommodation, recreation, respite, in-home support and flexible support for children and adults on the spectrum and other complex needs.

About the role

Reporting to the CEO, the General Manager of Services is part of the Executive team, and is responsible for a broad range of service offerings including accommodation, recreation, respite, in-home support and flexible options.

A strong focus on change management, quality service delivery and risk management will the key aspects of the role.

To be considered for the position candidates need to be proven senior executive with solid commercial acumen and experience leading complex operations, in a health/ human services environment.

Other attributes include:

• Strong communication and relationship building skills with the ability to work effectively with a wide array of stakeholders.

  • Extensive management experience with financial and business acumen including experience in budgeting, procurement of services, reporting and program measurement and evaluation.
  • Strong people leadership skills including change management experience, developing high performance and diverse teams; building capability, mentoring and coaching.
  • Proven analytical and decision making skills with the ability to prioritize and communicate to staff key objectives necessary to achieve SASI goals.

Excellent remuneration including the ability to access Salary Packaging will be available to the successful candidate
