About the organisation
The Victorian Council of Social Service (VCOSS) is looking to recruit a professional who has had experience in engaging and developing strong relationships across the community sector to join the management team.
VCOSS is the peak body of the community sector in Victoria. It raises awareness of the existence, causes and effects of poverty and disadvantage. VCOSS is a unique membership based organisation with a rich history in social justice advocacy in Victoria.
About the role
- Full-Time – Two year contract
- Level 5.1 – 5.7 – $96,152–$118,205
The Manager Sector Engagement and Development will oversee VCOSS’ sector development activities, projects and partnerships which aim to build a thriving Victorian community sector. This position will act as a key VCOSS contact for government, VCOSS members and other stakeholders.
You will use your knowledge of the Victorian community services industry to support the development and implementation of a range of projects that will build the capacity of the sector for the future. You will have strong communication and relationship building skills and have experience in managing a range of projects.
This position is full time. Salary and conditions of employment are governed by the Victorian Council of Social Service Enterprise Agreement 2017 and VCOSS policies and procedures.
