Manager – Youth Development Services. Permanent Full Time

Anchor is an independent, not-for-profit organisation with a proud history of providing support to individuals and families in Melbourne’s outer eastern region. We support people to get back on track and help them thrive.

The Manager – Youth Development Services manages Anchor’s services for young people who are homeless, often disengaged from Education and may have a care experience. These include:

• Two (2) foyer like accommodation services for young people in Lilydale and Outreach services located in the regional parts of the Yarra Valley and beyond.
• Family Reconciliation
• Private Rental Brokerage
• Brighter Futures Transformation Pilot

This position will ensure that Anchor continues to grow its service offerings in Youth Foyers, using a Housing First Approach for young people, and service models which meet the needs of young people transitioning from care services. The common aim of Anchor’s Youth Development Services is to support young people to achieve their aspirations and identify their strengths and abilities.

The Manager- Youth Development Services will be a member of the Senior Management Team which comprises the Managers of Child, Youth and Family, Corporate and Housing Services and the CEO. The senior management team has a very collegiate, dynamic, supportive and inclusive culture that ensures our programmes and services are integrated, effective and efficient.

The Manager- Youth Development Services has a strong focus on partnerships and relationships that are essential to the delivery of both the current and future service offerings for young people.
