Live audience numbers are boosted by millions of viewers for nationally broadcast Festival programming on TV, radio and digital channels.

Conceived to promote the comedic arts in Australia, Melbourne International Comedy Festival has earned its global reputation through creative, eclectic programming. The organisation is active year-round with national and international touring, educational and artistic development programs complementing the presentation of the annual four-week festival.

About the role

Melbourne International Comedy Festival is recruiting a Partnership Manager to join the Melbourne International Comedy Festival team.

The Partnership Manager is responsible for managing the delivery of the Festival’s corporate partnerships and contributes to seeking new, and renewing existing, relationships.

In collaboration with the Executive Director and Marketing & Partnership Director, the Partnership Manager assists in developing and implementing strategies and initiatives aimed at securing and maintaining private support for the annual Melbourne International Comedy Festival and associated industry development programs – including corporate partnerships, corporate entertaining packages, individual donations and grants from trusts and foundations.

Melbourne International Comedy Festival is one of the three largest comedy festivals in the world and one of Australia’s biggest cultural events. The Festival sells in excess of 560,000 tickets annually and generates more than $17 million in box office. Aggregate attendance including free performances is over 760,000, with live audience numbers boosted by millions more for the nationally broadcast TV, radio and online specials.
