About the role

The role:
In this role you will provide support to CEI staff in the conduct of research projects, with responsibility for the collection and collation of quantitative and qualitative data, data analysis using SPSS and other databases, conducting literature searches, providing summaries and assisting in the preparation of reports and presentations.
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver projects, or components of projects, requiring strong quantitative and qualitative research evaluation methodologies as directed
- Facilitate strong relationships with external stakeholders such as government policy-makers, practitioners in the field, and other agency staff as required
- Support and follow research and evaluation quality control processes
- Work in an integrated way with others on CEI team as required, using research and evaluation expertise to help achieve project outcomes

To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Bachelor’s degree in health, social science, or related discipline
- Knowledge of research and evaluation methodology and protocols (e.g. ethics applications)
- Experience conducting quantitative and qualitative research, including data collection, collation and analysis
- Experience working with clients or stakeholders independently or under supervision
- Strong conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong team work skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
