The National Disability Insurance Scheme has engaged Early Childhood Early Intervention (ECEI) partners around Australia to deliver the ECEI approach. The Brotherhood of St Laurence is the ECEI partner for the North East Melbourne, Hume Moreland, Bayside Peninsula, Brimbank Melton and Western Melbourne areas.
About the role
- Lead a team using the early childhood early intervention approach
- Multiple ongoing positions available in the Brimbank Melton and Western Melbourne areas
- $80,000 – $85,000 per annum plus superannuation
- $13,000 per annum allowance in lieu of a vehicle
- Attractive salary packaging options available.
The ECEI approach supports children aged 0-6 years who have a developmental delay or disability and their families/carers. Supporting families to help children develop the skills they need to take part in daily activities and achieve the best possible outcomes throughout their life is a fundamental part of the ECEI approach. The Brotherhood are seeking passionate and engaging individuals form the following disciplines:
- Early Childhood Education
- Occupational Therapy
- Physiotherapy
- Psychology
- Social Work
- Speech Pathology
You will lead a small team in delivering and implementing the NDIS ECEI approach within your contracted areas. Ensuring that a high quality of service is provided to children and their families, you will build effective relationships with key stakeholders including children’s service providers, as well as work collaboratively with other teams within the Brotherhood of St Laurence. A specialist in one of the areas detailed above, you have true passion for delivering children’s services and are well regarded by your peers. You have experience in leading teams to achieve organisational outcomes, and your friendly and cooperative nature allows you to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
