About the Role
An exciting new opportunity has opened up and we are currently seeking a Senior Lawyer to join team and play a key role in delivering a range of high quality legal services to Justice Connect’s Homeless Law program.
Homeless Law is our specialist legal service for people experiencing or at risk of homelessness. We work closely with pro bono lawyers to provide hundreds of people with legal information, advice and representation. Our services are outreach based and client centred, and we don’t just focus on legal issues.
If you have a minimum of five years post admission experience, experience in law reform and advocacy work (preferably in a not-for-profit context), excellent understanding of the legal issues commonly faced by people experiencing homelessness, excellent interpersonal and communication skills as well as being a highly motivated professional- we would love to hear from you.
