About the role
The Volunteer Development Officer at Girl Guide Victoria supports volunteers and works to develop an attractive volunteer experience for women in the Victorian community. Our volunteers work with girls between the ages of 5 and 17 across the State to help the girls develop the skills they will need as they grow.
The Volunteer Development Officer will focus on offering capability and skills building opportunities for volunteers that not only support their work with Girl Guides, but offer broader life and employment – based skills opportunities.
This role is funded through a four-year grant from the Department of Health and Human Services (2018-2021). The role will be offered on a contract basis until the end of 2018, and extended one year at a time through the life of the grant.
This is a varied role that provides a wonderful opportunity support the girls of Victoria by providing a great volunteer experience for our adult volunteers.
