About the organisation
Accessible Arts is the peak arts and disability organisation in NSW providing professional services and assistance to organisations and individuals in the arts and disability sectors within metropolitan and regional NSW.
Accessible Arts also provides consultancy services and training to organisations, and implements a range of programs for artists with disability with a view to supporting and enabling people with disability to develop and maximise their creative potential.
The organisation provides leadership in arts and disability through information, advocacy and the facilitation of excellence in arts practice. Its aims are:
- To empower and connect artists with opportunity, development and career sustainability
- To foster a creative, vibrant, inclusive arts community in which everyone can participate and thrive
- To provide sector leadership through innovation, sound governance, effective management and operational efficiency
About the role
Accessible Arts is entering a period of change and development as the NDIS is rolled out across Australia. It is seeking an energetic CEO with diverse experience to work closely with the Board to lead the organisation into an exciting future.
The successful candidate will have outstanding communication skills, excellent judgement, good business acumen, and demonstrated experience in all aspects of leading a successful organisation. This includes skills in high level strategy, business development, change-management, and experience and established networks in the arts

The role will be based at The Rocks in Sydney, and will be a 3 -year fixed term contract with possibility of renewal.
