 Royal Far West is currently seeking an experienced Community Fundraising & Events Manager to join our team in a part time capacity.  Reporting to the Head of Communications, Marketing & Fundraising, this role is responsible for supporting the Fundraising Manager and team in generating and increasing revenue through community-based fundraising & to take overall responsibility for delivering the coordination, marketing & relationship management goals of community based fundraising events.  This includes RFW branches and op shops, third party and directly managed events, and all regular peer to peer and ad hoc community fundraising initiatives.

ABOUT YOU

Essential Criteria

  • Demonstrated experience in fundraising or sales
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and work effectively with others
    Demonstrated experience managing and delivering events and/or community based activities
  • Outstanding organisational, time management & project management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Flexible and adaptive with the capacity to take initiative in order to achieve goals
  • A current driver’s license
    Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends
  • Working knowledge of IT systems including Word, Excel & PowerPoint

Desirable Criteria

  • Experience with sponsorship and marketing campaigns
  • Good understanding of the non-profit and philanthropic sector
  • Knowledge of social media and digital fundraising
