About the role
The NTEU WA Division is seeking applications for a full-time, ongoing Level 7 or 8 Industrial Officer position which is available immediately.
The position:
This position provides advice and representation for members, represents the Union in Industrial Courts and Tribunals and undertakes negotiations. The successful applicant will be responsible for providing leadership to a team of industrial and organising staff across the WA Division as well as for providing strategic advice to the Division elected officers.
Depending on level the position would suit an experienced industrial practitioner or an Organiser who has had extensive experience in advocacy and representation of members.
It is located in Subiaco but the appointee will be expected to attend meetings at the five WA University Branches and a Driver’s License that is valid in WA is desirable.
The position reports directly to the WA Division Secretary.
The Terms and Conditions:
The appointment will be made at either NTEU Level 7 or 8 depending on qualifications and/or experience and carry a salary range of $102,971 to $128,247, plus and additional 17% employer superannuation contribution.
