About the organisation
The Brien Holden Vision Institute is an Australian based not-for-profit, non-government organisation that is helping to bring much-needed eyecare within reach of people around the world. Our mission is to help eliminate avoidable blindness, particularly due to ‘uncorrected refractive error’ which simply means needing glasses to see.
The Brien Holden Vision Institute works in collaboration with local communities and with other organisations to target local need, including providing immediate care and building sustainable eyecare services through eyecare examinations, education of local people and establishing eye clinics and training facilities.
About the role
We are seeking a suitably qualified an experienced individual who is genuinely committed to improving eye care.
This role of the Regional Director is responsible for managing eye care projects across the Asia Pacific region. The position will report directly to the CEO.
Applications are invited for a full-time, but part time is negotiable , 12 months fixed term, maternity leave cover. Start date : as soon as possible
