 Working with the Board. the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is responsible for providing strong strategic and business leadership, while willingly taking the responsibility of building and enhancing regional capacity for health service delivery. The position will lead Ballarat Community Health (BCH) in developing opportunities for partnerships and collaboration among local health service institutions, funding organisations, the private sector and government and community stakeholders. The incoming CEO will be values driven and have a demonstrated reputation for challenging the status quo and through transformational leadership, enhance the outcomes for the communities in which BCH operate whilst thriving in a complex and competitive operating environment.

•   Proven high level performance as a Chief Executive Officer or Executive Director

•  Extensive knowledge of Public Health sector funding

•  Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline (Health Sciences, Management). Postgraduate  qualification desirable

•  A leadership record of being transformational, strategic, flexible and innovative

•  Demonstrated commitment to excellence, quality and accountability.
