You’re a fantastic communicator with a collaborative nature, which goes hand in hand with your strong technical and interpersonal skills. You have a strong understanding of the AOD, general health or community service sector and your ability to build rapport with range of stakeholders and consumers, will set you apart from your peers.

We are seeking a Coordinator, Alcohol and Other Drugs to join our team in Parkville, and if you are looking for that next step where you want the chance to make a real difference within the community then we want to hear from you!

About your role:

Reporting to the Director, Priority Populations Health and Wellbeing, you will work to lead and develop collaborative and meaningful relationships with AOD providers in the North Western Melbourne catchment. Working with a small team to support a service system that is responsive to consumers, families and the broader community, you will love this opportunity as you:

  • Coordinate the development and delivery of stakeholder engagement processes and capacity building initiatives, such as workshops, forums and meetings
  • Lead and apply best-practice project management methodologies to ensure timely achievement of deliverables and performance targets
  • Develop strategies and processes to support services that are co-designed with relevant stakeholders to address priority needs
  • Promote data collection that is relevant, timely, accurate and accessible for both planning and reporting purposes

 

What you’ll need:

Your extensive experience in a leadership role with a focus on managing change within complex environments paired with your tertiary qualifications in health, alcohol and drugs, social sciences or related studies will see you easily step into this role.
