About the role

- Salary: $63,000k- $69,000k with Salary Packaging
The Opportunity
This position, in conjunction with the Communications Manager will strategically develop and implement the communications needs of the organisation across our various digital media platforms, for our internal and external audiences. He/ she will be a critical part of the Office of the CEO and will be instrumental in the continued development of engaging, informative and culturally appropriate communications.
To be considered for this role you must demonstrate
- Awareness and appreciation of Aboriginal societies and cultures and an understanding of the issues affecting Aboriginal people in contemporary Australia and the diversity of circumstances Aboriginal peoples face
- Strong writing, proof reading and communication skills with superior attention to detail
- Experience with digital mediums including website content management systems
- Knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, and other social media platforms and their functionality and integration within organisations
- Knowledge of basic design such as Photoshop, and MailChimp will be viewed favourably
