Director, Philanthropy and Donor Engagement

Part-time: Equivalent to .6FTE. Out of hours work and interstate travel will be required
This is a newly created role for the General Sir John Monash Foundation. We are looking for a mature individual who is passionate about supporting the future leadership of Australia and understands the value of post graduate education in the international context. This will be a key role in support of the CEO. The Director, Philanthropy is responsible for developing and implementing a diversified fundraising strategy which may include, major gifts and grants, special campaigns, planned giving from individuals, foundations and other potential sources as well as management of donor cultivation and stewardship. Direct involvement with collateral development, communication and events is expected.
