About the role

Family Advisor is an ongoing, part time (30 hours per week) position based at RACR Deakin office.

Reporting to the Early Intervention Services Manager, Family Advisor is expected to assist practitioners in delivering quality integrated services to RACR clients by providing a stepped care model that includes, information, intake, screening, assessment, referrals and case coordination , while liaising with a wide range of external stakeholders.

To be successful in this role, you are required to possess:

  • Minimum  Tertiary Qualification in Social Science, Social Work, or related discipline  with relevant experience
  • Excellent telephonic communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to engage sensitively with a diverse range of people
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and assess client needs and act accordingly, including communicating with heightened clients and having difficult conversations;

Salary & Benefits

The salary on offer is $66,552.72 to $71,761.56 plus superannuation per annum for full time and PBI benefits. As a Public Benevolent Institution (PBI), RACR employees also receive tax-effective salary packaging opportunities, thus significantly increasing the value of your take-home pay.

According to the RACR Enterprise Agreement, the successful candidate will have access to generous leave provisions, annual leave loading, and special paid leave during annual holiday shutdown period and flexible working arrangements.
