The Orange Door provides a new way of supporting women, children and young people experiencing or at risk of family violence and has changed the way services work with women, children, young people, families and perpetrators of violence. The Orange Door team members are an integrated, collaborative team from The Sexual Assault & Family Violence Centre, Bethany Community Support, Colac Area Health and Wathaurong Aboriginal Cooperative.  

 

About the role

The Family Violence Specialist Team Leader will provide leadership to a team of Family Violence Specialist Practitioners who receive and manage all family violence referrals for women, children and young people to the Orange Door, including the delivery of client screening, assessment, crisis responses, service planning, targeted interventions, allocation and coordination of referrals. As the Team Leader, you will be accountable for team performance outcomes. You will manage, support and develop team members to build a culture of high performance, collaboration and innovation.

About You

You will have qualifications in social work or a related field and have experience leading a team, including providing supervision and day to day management, managing performance and building capability. You are a positive leader with a strengths based approach and your leadership style inspires and enables team members to reach their full potential. You thrive working collaboratively within a dynamic, team environment.

About The Sexual Assault & Family Violence Centre (formerly Barwon CASA/Minerva)
