We are looking for someone who is bold, resourceful and excited by the prospect of being part of something special. Are you ready to meet that challenge?

This role is about building relationships and trust. You will develop and bring to life a media relations program to raise Council’s media profile, as well as the profile of important projects and news within the community. And we want someone prepared to think differently.

You will have a tertiary qualification in journalism, communications or similar and an eye for a great story. Your writing skills will impress us, as will your ability to balance planning with flexibility. But most importantly you will have a strong sense of ethics and commitment to community.
