About the role

About the role

PSS Manager within the Post Separation Services program is a full-time, ongoing position based in Deakin, ACT.

Reporting to the Regional Manager (ACT and Southern NSW), PSS Manager will be expected to develop, maintain, and manage the quality of the Post Separation Services (PSS) within Relationships Australia Canberra & Region (ACT & Southern NSW Region), relating to specific Family Law Services including Family dispute resolution (FDR) service, Family Relationship service, Children’s Contact Service as well as other services relating to families.

Key responsibilities include leading a team of professionals to achieve outputs and outcomes of PSS program contracts, contributing to strategic planning, policy development and workforce planning as a member of the Senior Management Team while aligning program goals to RACR’s strategic direction, setting benchmarks for quality service delivery, clinical standards and innovative models of service and representing and promoting RACR services at industry forums and networking events.

To be successful in this role, you are required to possess:

  • An appropriate tertiary qualification in management, social science, counselling, family dispute resolution, clinical work or a related area.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading, managing and supervising staff in the community sector or a not for profit organisation.
  • Demonstrated experience and skills in clinical practice in the family dispute resolution area, including the use of a systemic framework

Salary & Benefits

The salary on offer is in the range of $92,100.78 to   $95,886.91 per annum plus superannuation for full time. As a Public Benevolent Institution (PBI), RACR employees also receive tax-effective salary packaging opportunities, thus significantly increasing the value of your take-home pay.

According to the RACR Enterprise Agreement, the successful candidate will have access to generous leave provisions, annual leave loading, special paid leave during annual holiday shutdown period and flexible working arrangements.
