About the role

DV Vic is looking for a values driven, family violence and community sector specialist to join our growing team and organisation.  DV Vic offers its employees:

DV Vic is currently recruiting two practice innovation positions to support the specialist family violence service sector to implement three of most significant reforms to practice that are a result of the recommendations of the Royal Commission into Family Violence in Victoria (2016):

  • Family Violence Information Sharing (FVIS) Scheme
  • Child Information Sharing (CIS) Scheme
  • Family Violence Risk Assessment and Risk Management Framework (the Framework)

 

The Practice Innovation Advisor (Technical) will assist specialist family violence services for women and their children to apply and implement the MARAM and Information Sharing Schemes to their practice by producing practice and policy guidance and resources, facilitating a Community of Practice, and providing targeted coaching and support for change in workplaces. Whereas the Practice Innovation Advisor (Systems) will focus on the interface between the specialist service sector and the broader service system, taking a leadership role in the implementation of the MARAM and the Schemes by working closely with other peak bodies, key state-wide service providers and Government to build capacity in the service system and to streamline processes between service sectors. 

The successful candidate will have strong skills in project establishment and management, stakeholder engagement, and the capacity to respond and tailor advice and resources for the sector.

This is an opportunity to help drive the implementation of the critical initiatives in an unprecedented era of reform in responses to family violence. Lead change and apply your practice knowledge and expertise to enhance outcomes for women and children through working closely with practitioners and family violence services.
