We are seeking an enthusiastic and well organised leader to join the Capacity Building and Projects team as a coordinator. This is a great opportunity for an experienced coordinator of both programs and people who is passionate about training and driving initiatives that strengthen cultural responsiveness when working with multicultural communities. The position is responsible for leading a small team and is part of inTouch’s leadership group.
This role requires a mature attitude, ability to take control and work autonomously within a team environment. Sound planning and organisational skills are essential, along with the ability to multi-task, prioritise and make decisions. A confident, ethical and professional approach is required for the position.
- coordinate the development, implementation and maintenance of unit’s capacity building plan including new and emerging areas of focus
- develop strategies for monitoring and evaluating the quality and impact of the capacity building programs and its activities
- staff management, including recruitment and supervision,
- develop and implement a high-quality training calendar,
- oversee administrative systems to manage the capacity building program, including: a training database; systems to respond to and prioritise requests; and, develop training policies and procedures as part of the quality system;
- establish a fee-for-service training program;
- establish and maintain networks and relationships with external stakeholders
- Actively participate in the inTouch leadership group and support the Executive Leadership Team in developing and maintaining a strong strategic focus in a way that ensures alignment with the broader sector reform
- contribute to the work of inTouch more broadly through provision of specialist advice/consultation to relevant projects/reforms
- other duties as directed by your Manager;
