The Role

 Youth Projects is seeking an enthusiastic & experienced Clinical Team Leader to join their dedicated multi-disciplinary team at The Living Room. You will lead a team working with marginalized communities (in particular people who inject drugs, people who are experiencing homelessness and people with mental health issues). You will drive high quality and integrated practice for the Living Room Primary Health Service, Substance Misuse, Therapeutic Programs (Art, Music), Life Skills Centre and After Hours Primary Care.  This position provides an exciting opportunity for people with a clinical background in nursing to create evidence-based responses through the development of committed and multidisciplinary teams and program responses.

 

Skills Required

This position will be responsible for the provision of high responses within a multidisciplinary team and would suit a resilient and experienced people manager with a background in either community health, AOD, mental health and/or human services sector. A commitment to community development, harm reduction and primary health care is essential.

 

The key to your success in this role will be your ability to support the work of the Operations Manager and provide expert clinical guidance your team and to lead programs that provide a more collegiate service for clients and create solutions relating to clinical care.
