About the organisation

Organisation Name : Act for Peace

Today, there are more refugees, asylum seekers and displaced people worldwide than at any time since World War II. That’s more than 65 million people forced to flee their homes to escape conflict and disaster.

It’s a terrible injustice. And one that we can, and must, overcome.

We believe that when people all over the world work together, big changes really are possible. That’s why we’ve made it our mission to act in partnership with other passionate people, like you, across the globe to achieve safety, justice and dignity in communities threatened by conflict and disaster. We don’t think there’s any task more important.

Since 1949 our supporters have provided food, shelter, education, healthcare and training to help the world’s most vulnerable prepare for, cope with and recover from crisis.

Together we’re tackling the root causes of injustice, and are building a brighter future for everyone. We hope that you’ll join us in this vital mission.

Strategic, curious and with an eye for detail, you want a varied role in an environment where your creative judgement and hard-work will be valued. Most of all, you want a position that will enable you to put your passion for global justice into action and make a difference where it’s needed most in the world.

You’ll play be playing a crucial role in the Supporter Experience team, creating and delivering engaging content that will inspire new and existing supporters to do more, give more and stay longer in the fight against injustice. You’ll keep up to date with the latest digital marketing trends and deliver Act for peace’s content strategy across multiple channels – including social media, website, print, and email.

You’ll plan and organise Act for Peace’s content gathering trips to source photo and video material from our international programs, and share this material with your colleagues via our online media library. You’ll also share these inspiring stories of change with supporters by overseeing the production of videos, web and email content and publications such as our supporter magazine and annual report.

You’ll be learning from an award-winning, motivated and experienced team – and you’ll be using your skills to make a big and growing contribution to achieving safety, justice and dignity in communities around the world threatened by conflict and disaster.
