We have a fantastic opportunity to join our well-respected and longstanding not-for-profit organisation as our Diversity Manager. With responsibility for advancing our Reconciliation Action Plan Gender and Sexuality Equity Plan, Language Services and review of our Human Rights Framework (among others) you’ll need to hit the ground running.
Responsible for working with cross-organisational leadership teams, staff, consumers and other relevant stakeholders to develop responsive and proactive projects and strategies that support access, inclusion, active participation and capacity building of marginalised communities.
The work is underpinned by a strong focus on promoting and strengthening human rights; supporting highly engaged and connected communities; embedding meaningful community input into health service decision making; and strengthening workforce and organisational capacity to deliver responsive and inclusive services to marginalised and disadvantaged people and communities.
As our Diversity manager your responsibilities will include:
- Leading the development, implementation, evaluation and reporting on diversity, access and inclusion and human rights strategies and projects;
- Ensuring access and diversity strategies and projects are appropriately targeted and fully integrated with each other and across cohealth; and
- Contribute to and/or lead related policies, action plans, projects and governance groups, in partnership with cohealth management team and key stakeholders.
