Raise Foundation impacts the wellbeing of young people at risk of disengagement in Australia through best practice youth mentoring programs.  As we expand our presence in Victoria we have an exciting, flexible working opportunity to join our Partnerships Team in 2018 to attract and manage strategic partnerships in that state.

 

Working for a well-established, medium-size non-profit with a large vision you will need to be a tenacious self-starter and have the ability to work with minimal supervision, choosing your own hours, either from home or from our North Carlton office, in Melbourne. 

 

You will be responsible for identifying, pursuing and securing strategic financial and in-kind partners for Raise from multiple channels including corporate, community and private philanthropic organisations.   You will also be responsible for the ongoing account management of these new partners including identifying and pursuing opportunities to grow these partnerships.

 

The successful candidate will ideally have strong network connections in Melbourne and a proven track record in business development including building and maintaining relationships through excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to create communications, present and influence credibly and effectively.  A passion for creating and maintaining strong, long-lasting relationships is essential.

 

This position will require travel between Sydney and Melbourne, a high level of computer skills and familiarity with Salesforce.

 

This position is for 20 hours per week with flexible days under the Social Community, Home Care and Disability Services (SCHADS) Award, through which salary packaging is available.
