About the Role
You will begin with an internal financial review/ assessment of their existing procedures, systems and controls, making your own recommendations for best practices, taking into consideration the resources and capacity of the small inexperienced local finance team. If time allows, they would also benefit from support in developing an annual financial report and the coaching on basic financial reporting to their overseas donors in the UK & Australia. The organisation currently uses MS Excel for their financial record.

About the Organisation
Based in Peru’s scenic Sacred Valley, our partner is a Peruvian NGO with a mission to promote health in the under-served rural communities. They have requested support to help assess, improve and streamline their accounting processes, as well assistance to transitioning to QuickBooks. Their programs include training and supporting local people, who are elected by their community, to become health care providers for their communities. Each community health worker takes on a leadership role in their village and becomes the community’s frontline health care provider.
