About the organisation
Raise is creating thriving communities through best practice mentoring programs that empower young people to become resilient, capable and connected. We are a compassionate team who wants to work flexibly, have fun and do a job that makes a real difference. We are about to enter a significant strategic planning phase to offer our program to every public secondary school in Australia, so this is an exciting opportunity to be part of something very special. Our team is growing and strong, and we offer purpose and passion, as well as salary packaging!
About the role
Our Program Counsellors are responsible for coordinating all aspects of our mentoring programs, which run in high schools for students, or in community settings for young mums. They ensure the successful implementation, delivery and completion of our programs.
We are looking for qualified counsellors, youth workers, social workers or psychologists in all capital cities and some regional areas who would like a flexible role during school term time that involves engaging young people, developing and supervising volunteer mentors, and delivering high quality mentoring programs that make a real impact.
It’s important that you understand mandatory reporting processes and have good admin and tech skills, but most importantly that you love working with young people and supporting volunteers to help them become resilient, capable and connected.
The roles are 5-7 hours per week per program, for 33 weeks per annum, based in all capital cities + Geelong and Davenport.
