About the organisation
Eastern Domestic Violence Services (EDVOS) is a not-for-profit specialist family violence service in Melbourne’s Eastern Metropolitan Region. We provide an integrated range of support and services to empower women and children who are responding to family violence. We operate within a human rights framework and our focus is on supporting the safety of women and children and the accountability of perpetrators.
About the role
Fixed Term contract until 30 June 2019
Part Time or Full Time (30.4-38 hours per week)
Our Quality, Risk and Compliance Team has an exciting position available for Quality Project Officer to join the team on a fixed term, part time basis or full time (03.4-38 hours per week) basis until 30 June 2019.
The position will align directly with quality, risk and compliance across all functional areas within EDVOS. The Quality Project Officer is responsible for developing and reviewing policies, procedures and other controlled documents that are audit ready and accurately reflect the organisation’s practices and process flows.
Essential to your success
- Sound ability to listen to and engage with different stakeholders in order to understand specific requirements across different functional areas
- Demonstrated ability to apply logical and clear thinking to achieve desired outcomes
- Highly- developed composition and editing abilities
- Knowledge of quality standards and accreditation
- Previous experience of working in community sector is desirable
- Results- driven and focused approach
- Skilled in using Visio, SharePoint, MS Office suite , (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Publisher) and Graphic design software

EDVOS hours of operation are Monday to Friday from 9am until 8pm and Saturday from 9am until 5pm.
Salary for this position will be aligned with SCHADS Level 5 + 9.5% super.
