About the role
An exciting opportunity now exists to be a part of the Our Watch Marketing and Communications team. Working as part of cross-functional project teams this role is responsible for planning and managing events across Our Watch to enhance the organisation’s reputation and strengthen relationships with partners and major stakeholders, including politicians and the media, to engage the community in action to prevent violence against women and their children. The Senior Advisor – Events is responsible for providing strategic advice with regard to the timing, location and format of events related to activities from across the organisation.
About you
We are looking for someone with relevant tertiary qualifications in public relations, events management or another related field who has a proven track record of planning and managing high calibre events in prestigious venues; and demonstrated success with engaging the offices of senior political leaders and agents of prominent media personalities.
