About the role

Analytics & Reporting Officer – UNSW Philanthropy

  • $85,326 – $91,023 + 9.5 % super + leave loading
  • 12-month fixed term contract
  • UNSW Sydney CBD office

 

Data analysis and reporting for UNSW philanthropy using the Raisers edge CRM, Tableau and Alteryx

 

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Manager, Data Analytics and working within the Operations Team, you will be responsible for delivery of data analysis and reports to support fundraising and engagement goals in the Division of Philanthropy. The primary focus is on data analysis, report development, and provision of support to the Division’s Information & Analytics team.

 

About the Successful Applicant

You are an experienced data analyst or business intelligence professional with advanced level knowledge of Alteryx and Tableau.   Specific requirements include:

  • Relevant degree with 3+ years relevant experience in data analysis, business intelligence development or equivalent competency gained through any other combination of education, training or experience
  • Proficiency in data modelling
  • Experience with CRM databases and in report building using tools such as Crystal Reporting, SAS BI Suite, Alteryx and Tableau 3
  • Strong MS Office skills (Word/Outlook/Access/Visio) and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (ability to write functions, macros, VBA).
  • Experience in working directly with users, and ability to quickly build prototypes to demonstrate dashboard and reporting requests
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and ability to work and produce results in a fast-paced environment.
  • An interest in philanthropy and its impact on society
