As a small health based Not for Profit with a national reach, we are looking for a Communications and Marketing Manager to drive and grow all external communications through the successful management of a small team, along with developing and implementing a variety of marketing and communications strategies, liaising with senior health professionals and government bodies.
About the role
Job tasks and responsibilities
Reporting directly to the CEO, you will:
- Lead a small team with a range of communications & marketing initiatives
- Act as primary liaison for all stakeholders
- Make sure all materials are accurate and appropriate for audiences
- Develop and oversee multiple projects simultaneously
- Prepare board reports on communications activities
- Drive strategic communications planning and initiatives
- Develop funding submissions, tenders and sponsorship proposals
Skills and experience
- Prior experience in a similar senior Communications/ Marketing or public relations management role
- Excellent stakeholder relations, project management and interpersonal skills
- High level writing and editing skills
- Superior attention to detail with strategic thinking skills to match
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
- Working history or qualification in medical, pharmacy or health sciences
- Leadership exposure
