About the role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Employment Case Worker to join our newly formed team in Ballarat. The position is part time, 30.2 hours per week, and is on a fixed term basis for 12 months. The successful applicant will be suitably qualified and be able to demonstrate competence in :
- Employment Engagement Strategies –identifying appropriate job opportunities that assist in meeting the needs of women wanting to re-enter the workforce.
- Job Readiness – providing specialised outreach employment assistance to approximately 30 women,
- Individualised training and support – facilitating individualised training and ongoing support to assist women to be ready for and successful in obtaining sustainable employment.
- Partnership and Stakeholder Management – working collaboratively with employer contacts and other community support services to maximize positive outcomes for the participants and avoid duplication.
A Police check, a Working with Children Check and a current driver’s license are mandatory.
Salary is in accordance with the SCHADS Award and is equivalent to Level 4, pay point 4. Salary packaging is available.
