About the Role
The Fundraising Officer will be located at either our Concord or Canberra centre depending on where the successful applicant resides.
The Fundraising Officer will generate income through diverse fundraising activities and campaigns, execute marketing activities and support fundraising campaign participants and supporters.
Key Responsibilities
- You will work across all facets of fundraising including partnerships, bequests, major donors, regular giving, fundraising events and direct mail campaigns
- Operationalise fundraising campaign strategies through identified channels and contribute to the development of appropriate communications activities including electronic direct mail, newsletters, online and social media in line with strategies developed by the Director of Fundraising
- Engage with donors to implement the donor care program within the fundraising strategy
- Identify and drive initiatives for third party and participation based event activities
- Manage specific projects and events to assist with achieving fundraising objectives
- Monitor and report the progress of fundraising activities
- Integrate and optimize supporter acquisition channels to deliver improved life-time-value and return on investment
- Drive engagement in order to support long-term donor value
- Ensure an integrated and consistent brand experience across all channels
- Provide input into the development of fundraising campaigns
- Coordinate and execute project plans and timetables as agreed and required
- Coordinating the effective deployment of technology to engage, thank and convert individual donors and community fundraisers including reviewing templates and system rules for tracking and flagging individuals and issues
- Maintain and utilize the CRM system – ideally but not limited to Raisers Edge to gain donor insights and deliver donor centric focused contact with our supporters

Skills & Attributes
- Fundraising, community engagement or event management experience
- High energy, passion and donor-centric focused
- Successful track record in lead generation and conversion
- Proven interpersonal and communication skills
- Team player
This a full-time position (38 hours per week). Benefits including 4 additional paid leave days per annum and PBI are offered.
