Based in Edgeworth and working across the central coast, the role offers plenty of autonomy and scope to make your mark. Reporting to the Director of Services NSW, you will lead and support three teams to deliver the high quality, evidence-based programs Functional Family Therapy – Child Welfare (FFT-CW) and, a first for Australia, Functional Family Therapy (FFT). The role will also have responsibility for developing and managing collaborative relationships and partnerships with government departments and other non-government and Aboriginal controlled agencies.
This rewarding opportunity will appeal to an experienced leader with a clinical background seeking to genuinely contribute to improving the lives of at-risk children and young people. Tertiary qualified in social work, psychology or social sciences, ideally to postgraduate level, you bring proven and successful leadership and clinical experience in the not-for-profit or human services sectors and exposure to working with vulnerable children, young people and their families. With an evident ability to lead and influence positive change initiatives, you enjoy a challenge and possess highly developed communication and interpersonal traits, sound business acumen, and the capacity to successfully engage with and adapt to a wide audience.
