About the organisation
We are a leading organisation offering a comprehensive suite of services to clients and the community across the Barwon, West Melbourne and Wimmera Regions. Providing specialist sexual assault and family violence programs and services, including 24 hour crisis care support, case management, therapeutic counselling, early intervention and professional education and training, we continue to grow and develop our offerings.
The Manager, Therapeutic Services provides senior operational management and leadership to the Counsellor Advocate team within Client Services. Reporting to the Client Services Executive and leading a team of 3 Senior Counsellor Advocates, the role is central to delivering organisational requirements and building the capability of the Seniors who in turn support and develop the capacity of their Counsellor Advocates to deliver quality counselling and innovative therapeutic services that are aligned with our organisational values and Strategic Plan.
About the role
You will have graduate or post graduate qualifications in psychology, family therapy or a relevant discipline, coupled with experience in a senior therapeutic counselling services leadership role. You are a Values driven leader who is comfortable leading change and building team capability and accountability in a supportive, positive way. You thrive working both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic team environment whilst being able to manage competing demands.
