Young Alumni Coordinator

 

  • Diverse and fun range of engagement activities
  • $85,326 – $91,023 + 17% super + leave loading
  • Sydney CBD; relocating to Kensington end 2019

 

Join a high performing team and help guide the student to alumni journey for UNSW’s largest alumni group.

 

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Manager, Alumni Networks and Services, the core focus is to engage with graduates of UNSW under 35 years with the purpose of building ongoing support and participation through fostering mutually beneficial relationships. A critical responsibility is the mapping and improvement of student to alumni transition across the University.

 

About the successful applicant

You can demonstrate your experience delivering successful alumni and/or strategic engagement programs. Specific requirements include:

  • Solid understanding of a range of digital platforms, including experience in the development and roll out of effective social media engagement strategies
  • Strong engagement and stakeholder management skills including highly developed written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of attention to detail and demonstrated commitment to excellence in program and project delivery
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and to garner support and commitment for projects
  • Excellent organisational skills and proven ability to show initiative and think creatively and independently
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively and sensitively with colleagues across a range of teams whilst coordinating multiple priorities
  • Knowledge of health and safety responsibilities and commitment to attending relevant health and safety training
