About the role

About the opportunity

We currently have a full-time, fixed-term vacancy until 30 June 2020 for a Senior Code Compliance Analyst to work within our Code Compliance and Monitoring Team, focusing on Life Insurance Code matters.

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the Code Compliance Monitoring Committees and Code Compliance Manager by providing high quality compliance analysis and investigation of serious and systemic Code breach allegations.

You will conduct research, draft correspondence and prepare reports as required for the Committee and take a lead role on a number of projects. You will also assist in the implementation of the compliance program for the Life Insurance Code of Practice. This is a significant time of change in the financial services industry and this role will assist in the development and delivery of that change by influencing culture within the industry.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will have considerable experience within the life insurance industry and have a strong technical background.

Ideally, you will be degree-qualified in a related discipline such as financial services, compliance, data analytics or law.  You will have excellent written and oral communication skills and be able to demonstrate your strong ability to research, analyse and draw conclusions from data.
