Skills and experience sought

We seek someone who is committed to social justice and social inclusion to join our skills-based board. Given the organisation’s growth plans, and the move to more fee for service activity, the Board is seeking an experienced board director with one or more of the following skills sets – strategic finance, strategy, customer experience, information and communication technology. We have a specific focus on valuing a lived experience of a mental health issue and encourage applications from people with lived experience. Please refer to the Board Skills Matrix for further information. Time Commitment There are six board meetings each year and six Board Committee meetings, on alternate months. The meetings are held at Sydney Olympic Park and are usually 1.5 – 2 hours in duration. The Board and its sub-committees meet by teleconference as necessary. Board Directors are remunerated and travel arrangements are made by Flourish Australia (e.g. Flights, Accommodation, Taxis, Parking & Public Transport, Meals).
