The Role
This fast-paced and dynamic role will provide crucial project and operational support to the Director of Campaign & Principal Gifts.  This will include supporting the management of a pipeline of donors, and planning and delivering a calendar of events and activities to increase the University’s philanthropic income. 

You will set the Director of Campaign and Principal Gifts and Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Engagement) up for success by supporting the development of principal donor reports, briefing papers and presentations, continuously tracking the progress of plans and performance metrics, and identifying and resolving potential risks or issues.

About You
You are ready to take on a challenge that supports making a difference. Your exceptional project management skills, creativity, imagination and experience working in a fundraising or philanthropy environment and ability to work autonomously will make you the perfect candidate for this role.

You are comfortable building positive relationships with senior stakeholders and appropriately dealing with confidential and sensitive matters. Your approach to work is highly organised, adaptable and independent, which enables you deliver high quality work within tight deadlines.

  • Degree and/or equivalent experience in business, management or related discipline.
  • Working in a fundraising/philanthropy environment.
  • Exercising diplomacy and appropriate judgement when involved with matters of a confidential and/or sensitive nature.
  • Building, managing and influencing positive relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Planning, managing and delivering events and/or projects with diverse stakeholders.
  • Writing and developing presentations and reports for senior management.
  • Identifying and managing business risks and issues.
