About the organisation
This is a national suicide prevention charity that focuses on raising awareness, building capacity, providing help and research to the construction industry. It delivers several training programs to various construction organisations that aim to raise awareness about suicide in the workplace, and to make it easy to access help and ensure that assistance is delivered practically, professionally and appropriately.
About the role
Provide executive support to the senior leadership team in this extremely varied and challenging Executive Assistant role. Reporting directly to the CEO and Operations Manager, you will oversee two administrative staff and be responsible for managing relationships with key internal and external stakeholders in your daily management of the Queensland office.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Diary and email management duties
- Coordination of all senior leadership travel arrangements
- Meeting coordination – including scheduling meetings, taking minutes and preparing agendas
- Provide assistance to office and field staff involved in operational projects
- Preparation of management presentations, including board reporting
- Manage the day to day operation of the office and oversee the administration team
- Events management and coordination
- Assist with human resources, marketing and IT support
- Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders at a variety of levels
- Assist with systems and processes improvement to support the company
Skills & Experience required
- Senior administration or office management experience required, ideally as a Personal Assistant or Executive Assistant
- Exceptional time management skills
- Flexible attitude – this is a dynamic and challenging environment where priorities are often changing
- Commitment to the importance of high-quality client service, and a genuine interest in helping people
- Demonstrate a proactive and conscientious attitude towards your work
