About the role
To ensure its ambitious strategic goals are achieved and its high level of excellence is sustained, The Australian Ballet relies on key funding from government bodies, at Federal, State and Local level, and from large philanthropic trusts and foundations. The Externa Relations team is seeking a new Grants Manager who will be responsible for supporting The Australian Ballet and its subsidiary Orchestra Victoria by securing funding from these sources. The postholder will play a critical role in maintaining cross-departmental collaboration to procure information and data for funding application submissions and acquittals.
You must be an exceptional writer and storyteller who can translate The Australian Ballet/ Orchestra Victoria requirements into compelling talking points and stories. Your proven track record in securing grants successfully and writing comprehensive reports will be matched by your attention to detail and superior time and project management skills. You will be able to liaise with a variety of stakeholders, both internal and external, effectively.
Fundamental to success in this role will be a passion and enthusiasm for The Australian Ballet, its work, aspirations and values.
