Fundraising Officer

$60,114 gross per annum + 9.5% superannuation
Full Time, Fixed Term for 2 Years

The National Gallery of Victoria (NGV) is seeking a Fundraising Officer to undertake an integral role in the cultivation and engagement of prospective donors, as well as the stewardship of existing donors through the delivery of the NGV Fundraising department’s engagement strategy.

ABOUT THE POSITION:
You will provide support to the NGV’s Fundraising team while also providing stewardship to NGV donors and stakeholders. Other key responsibilities include:

• Supporting the Senior Fundraising Officer in identifying and cultivating current and future donor prospects, while contributing to the administration of these activities.
• Assisting the Fundraising team with the development and delivery of fundraising initiatives and campaigns such as the Annual Giving Program through liaising with curators and coordinating tailored engagement programs.
• Maintaining an overview of relevant donor events, ensuring an awareness of the event end to end process, including the required lead times, updating constituent records, ensuring effective use of resources within budget and hosting guests.
