About the role

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Project Coordinator will assist PTA colleagues with operational and administrative support as the charity develops high-impact projects across three focus areas: Young People, Sustainable Communities, and Defence Members & Their Families. An ideal candidate will be a flexible self-starter, willing to learn and grow with the team.

1. Operational Support

  • Internal Operations: Assist PTA’s internal operations and business functions to aid program delivery. Maintain and manage collaborative relationships with external suppliers and internal stakeholders. Support PTA with data entry, office and project management, including budget and forecast support.
  • Logistics: Support the PTA team with essential administrative tasks, and coordinate complex diaries, appointments, agendas and travel arrangements.
  • Communications: Assist PTA team to create and deliver a range of content and collateral for external audiences including social media posts across PTA’s online platforms. Update PTA’s website with media releases and program deliverables.
  • Program & Event Support

2. Event Coordination: provide in-person and virtual support to assist across a range of PTA event needs including operations, logistics and communications. PTA events will include: private and/or large scale fundraising initiatives, receptions, networking opportunities, and community engagement activities.

3. Program support: provide support to the broader PTA team pre, during and post education and training program delivery. This may include programs delivered in schools, at work places, or in parallel with PTA events and may include some travel. Responsibilities may include: logistical and facilitation support, and assisting with participant evaluations and follow-up.
