The National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) is Australia’s premier training ground for future leaders and practitioners in the performing arts. Located at Kensington in Sydney, it is a centre of excellence in education and training. NIDA is unique in the world for its conservatoire training in the range that it offers which includes Acting, Design, Costume, Properties and Objects, Technical Theatre and Stage Management, Scenic Construction, Writing for Performance, Directing and Cultural Leadership.

About the role

The Sponsorship Manager is a new role ideal for a candidate with previous experience in education, arts and/or NFP sector. The successful applicant will work with the CEO and Executive Director Strategy and Development to develop new commercial sponsorship and partnerships. You will  work closely with the Development  team who are committed to engaging effectively with supporters that are interested in and dedicated to assisting NIDA in its drive to deliver excellence in training and educating the future leaders and respected practitioners in the performing arts in Australia and internationally.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrated Sponsorship management experience with a successful track record in developing key relationships. You thrive on delivering multiple programs of work simultaneously achieving budget targets and identifying new opportunities. You will ideally have a passion for the arts education and an understanding of its importance to Australia’s diverse cultural heritage being portrayed on our screens, theatres and venues in Australia and internationally.

Salary (TRP)

An attractive salary to be negotitated based on experience.
