Our online Grants Directory is the centre of the business. It allows organisations, government, businesses and individuals to search, shortlist and track grants from government, philanthropic and corporate funding providers.

We are a tech-based grants business that is continually improving what we do. We are growing in all areas. The entire business operates online - from members searching for grants across Australia, to our team working remotely.

About the role

Administration Position Overview

We’re excited to be bringing a new Administration team member on board. This opportunity will primarily be based remotely (i.e. from home).

Key responsibilities may change over time, however we expect them to include:

  • Being the first point of contact for external enquiries (email, online chat support)
  • Subscription support (online subscription management system)
  • Administration assistance to the Managing Director & Business Manager
  • Distribution of marketing materials (post and online).

Additional potential areas of work, based on skills, experience and time available, include:

  • Preparing Grant Alerts from content supplied from our Grants Researcher (MailChimp)
  • Sharing grant information on social media (Hootsuite, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn)
  • Assisting members with grant-related enquiries (email, CRM, chat support)
  • Travel logistics.

 

What We’re Looking For

First and foremost, the right fit.

Functionally, we are looking for someone with:

  • Administration and/or Personal Assistant experience
  • Familiarity with the Australian grants space
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Ideally, a familiarity with a range of apps and social media tools such as Slack, MailChimp, Hootsuite, Google Drive
  • Honesty & integrity
  • Self-motivation
  • High attention to detail
  • Good time management skills
  • Reputation of being a team player
  • Desire to work remotely, with flexibility to work face-to-face when required.

Hiring of the successful candidate will be significantly based on our Core Values outlined in the Position Description.

 

Terms & Time Allocation

This is a Casual position, with flexible working hours within standard business hours (i.e. flexibility between 8:30am – 5:30pm AEST).

We expect the role to be a 0.3 to 0.6 full time equivalent.

Remuneration for this position is in line with the Clerks Private Sector Award – Level 5.
