About the role

Reporting to the Board, you will be responsible for VACRO’s strategic planning and growth, overseeing operations, relationships with partners and stakeholders, and advocating for the organisation and its clients. Working in a collaborative atmosphere, you will provide guidance to your own team, give day-to-day support, and foster high level service outcomes. This is an ideal opportunity to steer VACRO through the constantly changing landscape, adding value to the sector and the community. For this challenging role you will need proven experience working at Board level leading an organisation with wide community links. You should have knowledge of issues affecting individuals, their children and families impacted by the criminal justice system, and ability to advocate on behalf of people’s rights. Strengths in organisational, financial and administrative processes are essential.
