This Sisters of Charity Foundation was set up by the Sisters of Charity to develop partnerships and programs for the relief of poverty and disadvantage in Australia. The Foundation has recently expanded its innovative range of services and is looking for a committed, skilled communicator to join our small team and drive program awareness, brand development and fundraising initiatives. About the role
The Communications Manager will develop and implement the Foundation’s communications plans by delivering high quality, engaging print and digital materials that will assist the Foundation in achieving its strategic and fundraising objectives. The position is pivotal in raising the Foundation’s profile, as well as the effective engagement and care of stakeholders, especially donors and grant recipients. The communications and engagement activities will attract, engage, grow and retain the Foundation’s donors and online communities.
This is a newly created role and you will work with the CEO to develop strategies to support the existing Community Grants Program, Scholarship Program, Disability Employment Service and Housing Program. You will also be required to provide advice on marketing and media opportunities for a new major initiative currently being developed and launched on International Women’s Day 2019.
