We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Coordinator to join the dedicated team at our East St Kilda site.
The East St Kilda residential facility includes 15 single client rooms. The service only employs and accommodates those who identify as female. The services include temporary accommodation (for up to 8 weeks with the possibility of extension), case management, transitional support and other services to get women over 18, experiencing homelessness, housed.
The Coordinator at East St Kilda oversees the activities of the after-hours workers at East St Kilda. The incumbent is responsible for providing effective leadership to their team to ensure that services provided to clients are delivered in an effective, consistent and professional manner with the needs and dignity of service users a priority.
We are looking for a leader with experience in Crisis Accommodation setting who can hit the ground running, managing staff, program and services with genuine leadership ability. You will have a passion for working with people experiencing homelessness and determination to deliver innovative and effective services of the highest possible standard for our clients.
We are looking for someone with great leadership skills, passion for women’s rights and enjoy working in a women’s only environment. You will have experience in leading teams who support complex clients and strong operational skills to support the day to day running of the Crisis Accommodation alongside the Case Manager Team Leader and Site Manager. Ideally you have previous experience in Community Services.
The role is 0.9FTE with two different shifts. Working hours will be 8am-4pm one week and 11am-7pm the other week.
